GMTK Jam 2023 - Theme : Reversed roles

You play as the Creator betatesting their passion project game. But the main character, Hero,  is on a path to destroy everything. Maybe you're not the one in control after all...

What the game was supposed to be : the idea was to reproduce the balancing phase of betatesting in order to allow the Hero to get through the game. The story talks about the artistic dilmena of keeping something that's detrimental to the project because you love it or to kill your darling.

How it turned out: Sadly, because of technical issues for one programmer, miscommunication and disagreements about the game design, we weren't able to complete the game. There's much to play here.
