Version 4.7.3


Version 4.7.3 introduces many new features and bug fixes.

New features :

  1. Target pattern : allow bullets to spawn according to a pattern x and be shot with an angle and a speed such as at time t, the bullets positions matches the positions of pattern y. For example, make your bullets spawn in a circle and then move them so they form a rectangle after 5 seconds.
  2. Pause remove after : allow the bullet to be paused (stop moving) instead of being deleted when the destruction conditions are matched. After a time, the bullet will still be deleted.
  3. Skip chance : add a skip variable to patterns to introduce random holes in the pattern
  4. Add an option to disable warnings from the plugin for certain nodes.
  5. Add an option to not have pattern and bulletpattern nodes be deleted upon game start.
  6. Added pattern preview for all patterns

Changes :

  1. Gravity value is now added after all movement calculs

WIP :

  1. Bullet's movement can now be relative to their parent. So the parent's changing position and rotation is added to the bullet's movement like a node and its children. It doesn't fully work for the rotation yet, and won't work if there's a cooldown between spawn and shot.
  2. PatternCustomShape has an option to convert an equation (function or non-function) to a set of points to spawn bullets. It doesn't work well yet and is not yet linked to the actual bullet spawning.

If you need the WIP features, tell me so I'll know this is something that is requested. Right now I'm hitting a wall with them but maybe someday i'll find how to finish them.
